Painted Guitar-Executive Producers

Painted Guitar is the brainchild of Don Scardino and Dana Williams.  Together they produced plays and musicals at Playwrights Horizons in NYC and most recently the feature film A Break In The Rain.  They also produced Our Almost Completely True Love Story, which has racked up prizes at festivals around the country and is now available for streaming on Apple, Amazon Prime, and most major platforms.  Our aim is to produce television and film projects that present positive stories and provide uplift in these challenging times.

FourthMan Productions is hubby and wife team, Jordan and Elizabeth Richard (pronounced the French-Cajun way). They have spent their careers telling stories for theatre, TV and film in New York City.  They are invested in arcs of redemption and the aesthetic unexpected. 

Sam King - Producer

 Sam King studied TV, Film, and New Media at San Diego State University before moving to New York City where she began her career in filmmaking. After working as a Production Assistant on many projects ranging from independent films to major television shows, Sam began helping friends and colleagues bring their passion projects to life, working as an Assistant Director, Associate Producer, and Unit Production Manager. 'A Break in the Rain" marks her first feature as a Producer. She is now focusing on expanding her producing work, as well as directing her own projects.

Matthew Bennett-Producer/Editor

 

Matthew Bennett began his career as an actor in New York City, appearing from 1986 to 2003 in numerous acclaimed productions including the original Broadway casts of Floyd Collins, Titanic, Blood Brothers, Amour, and Radio Gals, as well as Anne Bogart’s Marathon Dancing and the long-running Off-Broadway production of The Fantasticks. With collaborator Sean McCourt, he co-wrote the musical Ten Years Apart and the play Badger Country. He also appeared in film and television with credits in Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, and Remember WENN.

Transitioning behind the camera, Bennett founded Silent Crow Arts, where he has served as executive producer, director, and showrunner on a wide range of television specials, pilots, and series. He is credited with creating the first modern “after show” format with After the Catch for Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch. In addition to his extensive television work, Bennett is an editor and producer on the feature film A Break in the Rain.

Janet Foster - Casting Director
